OUR COMMITMENT

At Motor City Gymnastics, our facility is fully equipped with state-of-the-art trampoline and tumbling equipment. Whether you are a recreational or competitive gymnast, we are dedicated to helping you achieve your full potential in gymnastics. Our coaches receive ongoing training to guarantee that our gymnasts can access the safest and newest techniques and equipment.

ANNIVERSARY FEE:

All Students will be charged a $39 anniversary fee. This fee is good for one year. (NO REFUNDS)
This fee helps to split the cost of credit card fees, insurance, employee training and certifications, and ongoing updates on the equipment and our facility.

Please note that the anniversary fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you register before October 1st, 2024, there will be no anniversary fee for the first year.

Motor City Gymnastics operates year-round, and its tuition is based on an average of 4 weeks per month. The tuition remains constant for months with 5 weeks, and no credit is given for months with 3 weeks.

Motor City Gymnastics requires a parent or guardian to sign a Waiver and Release of Liability Form for each child entering the training area. The waivers will be updated annually.
When you create an account to enroll your child in a class, you sign the Waiver and Release of Liability Form in our customer portal

At Motor City Gymnastics, all participants must fill out a medical history form and we keep it on record. This helps ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved in the activities at the gym.

PAYMENT METHODS:

CLASS PLACEMENT:

At Motor City Gymnastics, we are dedicated to providing every child with the opportunity to thrive and succeed. Safety is our top priority, and our coaches will assess your child's ability and age to determine the most suitable class level. This assessment ensures a safe learning environment and an appropriate level of challenge for your young gymnast. In order to advance to the next level, students must master the required skills. For those eager to progress, there is also an option to enroll in multiple classes per week. Furthermore, our coaches are available for private lessons to help students master specific skills that may be hindering their advancement to a higher level class.

ATTENDANCE:

Students who arrive more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule their class. Motor City Gymnastics is not responsible for supervising children before or after their scheduled class time, so please ensure that students are picked up promptly at class.

Additionally, sick children (with fever and/or excessive coughing) should not attend class. Participants must be symptom-free for 24 hours before participating in any activities.

REGISTRATION, ENROLLMENT, AND WITHDRAW FROM CLASSES:

Students may enroll at any time, but their enrollment is subject to class availability.

Tuition is billed every month based on an average of 4 classes per month.
Tuition is pro-rated for athletes who enroll in the middle of a month. Once enrolled, the enrollment is ongoing.

To withdraw from any Motor City Gymnastics program, you must provide a 14-day written notice by email to info@motorcitygym.com. Athletes must withdraw from the class by the 15th of the preceding month if they do not intend to continue in their current class time for the upcoming month. If a withdrawal is not made by the 15th, then tuition will be billed, and any missed classes may be made up.

MAKE-UP POLICY:

For rec-classes, please contact info@motorcitygym.com to schedule a makeup at the same level. You are allowed to schedule two make-ups in class per month or use them in an open gym; holidays are excluded from make-ups.

For the team, please see your team agreement or ask your child's coach.

REFERRAL CREDITS:

At Motor City Gymnastics, we have a special referral program that allows you to save on your next month's tuition fees. When you refer someone to enroll in one of our classes, you will receive a 10% discount to be applied to your next month's tuition fees. This means that for every new enrollment you bring to us, you'll be eligible for a discount on your tuition. It's our way of showing appreciation for your support and for helping our gym grow.

It's important to tie your hair back securely in a ponytail, braid, or bun before each class.

FOOD AND DRINKS:

Only water is permitted in the training area.

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP:

Please ensure your child arrives on time for their scheduled class so they can warm up properly. Gymnasts should arrive 10 minutes before class and be supervised until it begins. This extra time allows your child to change clothes if necessary, settle in, and get comfortable.
Please be prepared for many other children, noise, and parents; it takes several minutes for young ones to absorb it all! Children under five must always have a parent in the lobby.

Children under 14 years of age must have a parent/guardian in the building to drop off and pick up.

Motor City Gymnastics takes every precaution to ensure the safety of your child. Therefore, we ask parents/guardians to be as diligent as possible to ensure that children are picked up in the building on time. We understand that there are times when circumstances beyond our control will cause you to run a few minutes late. In such cases, please give us a call at 248-688-1671. Motor City Gymnastics will supervise your child 15 minutes after their class is finished. After 15 minutes, we will charge you a $5 per minute late fee, with no exceptions!

Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

MISCELLANEOUS:

- Parents/guardians are only allowed in the training area if they have permission from their coach.

- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside and outside the facilities at Motor City Gymnastics.

ALLERGIES AND MEDICAL CONDITIONS:

At Motor City Gymnastics, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all children.
If your child has an inhaler, epi-pen, or other medical device, ensure they carry it with them and inform your coach. You will need to complete a separate form with details on how to manage your child's medical conditions or allergies.

If your child is unwell or injured and can't participate in their gymnastics classes, Parents’ Night Out, birthday parties, or camps, please inform the front desk and provide a doctor’s note describing the illness or injury, along with the date and the doctor’s signature.
